Craig is an accomplished and respected explorer. He led the first dedicated Scottish expedition to the South Pole, took a 16 year old to the North Pole and led many other expeditions to the Arctic. In 2013 he was awarded the title of “Explorer in Residence” by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and left the corporate world and set up The Polar Academy.
Each year The Polar Academy motivates thousands of young adults, demonstrating that by ‘inspiration through exploration’ anybody can achieve their potential. It offers a selected number of young adults, a truly once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a major Arctic Expedition. This expedition will be beyond anything they have ever determined to be possible and will positively change the lives of the participants, their families and their communities upon their return.
