As a challenger brand within a highly competitive marketplace, Alba Power needed a strategic marketing partner that would help focus its brand proposition internationally and raise awareness of the company’s increasing and innovative product and service portfolio across the globe.
Challenge
The challenge for our experts was to drive, and deliver, an integrated marketing strategy across five continents. The team worked closely with management, regional staff, and workshop employees to best represent Alba Power across all marketing requirements. This included supporting and liaising with key Alba Power employees in offices across Scotland and North and South America, as well as conducting annual feedback interviews and surveys from clients in Europe, North America, Asia and the Caribbean.
Clarity
Alba Power’s export growth saw an increase in export sales as a percentage of total turnover from 33% to 78% in one year alone. Increased global brand awareness was achieved through international event and customer campaigns, profile coverage in industry leading titles such as Energy Voice, Diesel & Gas Turbine Worldwide and Africa Outlook. It also gained recognition across a breadth of formal awards, such as the BQ Scottish Export Awards, the SPE Offshore Achievement Awards, Manufacturer of the Year Awards, the Real Business Growing Business Awards, and finally, the Oil and Gas UK Awards.
