Genoa Black is taking part in the government’s Kickstart Scheme which helps SMEs fund new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds – on Universal Credit and at risk of long term unemployment.
Our first successful Kickstart candidate recently joined as Marketing Research Executive, and is quickly learning the nuts and bolts of market research and strategic planning within our strategy team.
There are still great opportunities available for three more suitable Kickstart candidates.
- Digital Marketing Executive – working with our Client Services team gaining lots of project management experience while seeing how to provide work of the highest standard for our clients
- In-house Marketing Executive – working primarily with our Marketing & Brand Manager to keep the GB brand at the forefront in all communications, and
- Junior Graphic Designer – providing support to our Studio whilst getting the opportunity to learn how to tackle a design brief and develop top-notch time planning skills
Gaynor Duthie, Managing Partner, said:
“This is an excellent programme for 16-24 year olds, particularly in the current challenging climate and it really appeals to our ethos and culture at Genoa Black. These roles have been carefully shaped to provide relevant experience that will stand the young people in good stead, either to progress with us as part of our future team or as a stepping stone elsewhere. It’s a win-win situation for both our team and the ‘kickstarters’ who will be enveloped into the GB team whole-heartedly and will quickly become invaluable contributors to the day-to-day operations of the business.”
We are looking forward to expanding the team and developing future workplace talent with these roles and giving young people relevant and useful experience within a fast-paced, professional business environment.
We are accepting applications for all of these roles now and successful candidates will work in our central Edinburgh offices and from home.
